I believe our community deserves a strong voice for everyday people.
For me, community has always been about showing up - volunteering, listening, helping where I can, and speaking up when something matters. My children have grown up watching me volunteer and advocate in our community, and running for City Council feels like a natural extension of that commitment.
Professionally, I bring more than 16 years of experience in corporate roles within the banking sector, including leadership, process improvement, employee engagement, and participation on Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) committees. I also bring strong communication and public-speaking skills.
These experiences have taught me the importance of collaboration, accountability, thoughtful decision-making, and creating space for different perspectives, I now want to bring these skills to city council.
Civic Engagement & Voter Participation: Making local government and voting information easier to understand and encouraging more people to participate.
Our Environment: Protecting trees, green spaces, and Stratford’s natural environment while supporting responsible growth.
Food Security & Community Resilience: Strengthening local food connections, community gardens, and revisiting the residential animal by-law
Our Community: Supporting strong social services, families, and community connections.
Recreation for Everyone: More ways to play, connect, and belong - by expanding alternative sports, accessible recreation with year-round amenities.
Arts & Culture: Supporting the arts, cultural diversity, and community activities that make Stratford unique.
Listening & Accountability: Making sure residents feel heard and decisions that affect them are open and transparent.
Responsible Growth: Reinforcing thoughtful, dignified housing and development that respects our neighbourhoods.
I want to bring my experience, compassion, and commitment to Stratford to the Council table.
I care deeply about this community and want to help make sure residents’ voices are heard and their concerns are taken seriously.
I’m running to be a voice for our environment and for everyday people.
